Upload and Discuss DS Project Due March 8, 2010 :

  • Each student will be responsible for using one of the digital story applications to create their own digital story.
  • Completed projects are to be posted to Future Teacher Ning videos option.
    • Log into Future Teacher's Ning site.
    • Scroll down on the main page of FT site looking for the "Videos" window in right hand column.
    • Click on "+Add Videos" at bottom of the "Videos" window
    • Next page you can click on the following links to upload video:
      • "Click to Add Videos" option in middle of main screen image
      • Add videos from "YouTube, Hulu, or Vimeo". Can even embed from other site
      • Add videos from phone or e-mail
  • Digital story rubric will be used to evaluate the student created project.

Moran Digital Storytelling Project:


  • Review Objective of this project: (International Standards Technology Education (ISTE) - National Educational Standards)

  • Visit Week-05 assignment instructions and process for successful collaboration.
    • SC role:
      • Serve as facilitator and review student writing.
      • Assist in writing introduction of DS video & identify images to use
    • Review "Whispering Wisdom: Advice from the Past" details TnC Google docs site
    • Use Collaborative Google Doc site for Moran and SC pre-service students
      • walk through login and collaboration process as covered in tutorial videos.



Homework Week-06 (3-8-2010)

  • Collaborate with Moran students as started last week.
  • Complete work logs at bottom of page on Week-05 documenting work completed.
  • Mid-Term grades are to be submitted by next Monday 3pm. Thus, any late work needs to be completed for partial credit by this Friday March 12th. Moran collaboration project is not considered a late project as it wraps up this week.
