Semester Final Project for Technology in the Classroom
Superintendent Mathes is looking to hire educators that are strong in the understanding and implementation of 21st Century skills. Teachers interviewed will be asked to provide samples of activities or projects that address the ISTE NETS-T standards. Teachers will be evaluated using the Levels of Teaching Innovation (LoTi) "HEAT" process. Global collaboration and real world issues will be looked upon as key essentials for successful educating of those students attending. Teachers will also need to be capable of differentiating their instructional styles with an emphasis on the role of facilitator.
Please give us a brief overview of your background and experience as it applies to this position?

Explain your strongest attributes as well as challenges you may have as an educator?
Where do you see yourself in 3-5 years and how do you plan to get there?

What strategies would you use to learn a new application or methods for integrating technology?
Please explain a variety of methods technology can impact student learning in today's information-abundant society? (learning styles, special needs, course delivery, etc)
In what ways does the role of a teacher change as a result of not needing to have all the answers?
How would you personally encourage student engagement while incorporating higher order thinking skills (HOTS - Upper levels of Blooms' Taxonomy)?
Please elaborate on activities or technology tools that you are familiar with along with how you may integrate/implement them within your curriculum to address the 4 C's (collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity).
